My 4 year old daughter loves moon sand. I let her play with it at the table and she will play for 30 to 45 minutes at a time. This gives me some much needed quiet time. The downfall is, moon sand gets all over the place. Our preschool teacher suggested putting it in an underbed container and letting her play with it on the kitchen floor. Overall, we love this product!

Customer Review: Nice & Squishy - But Really Messy
My kids LOVE playing in sand. If they had their way, they’d never leave the sand box in the back yard. So, this makes a great toy for the winter months when playing outside in sand isn’t an option. Like others have said, it’s really, really messy. I’d skip the little inflatable sand box altogether. It gives a false sense of security as the sand still ends up everywhere and it’s really messy to clean and store. The sand molds pretty well, but it is very fragile and crumbles easily. It is nearly impossible to remove from anything but the most shallow molds. I found it easy to vacuum it out of the carpet; HOWEVER our vacuum has a fancy filter that ended up getting jammed full of this sand and couldn’t be cleaned. I’d recommend using the cheapest vacuum you have to suck this stuff our of your carpet, off your clothes, etc. The sand washed off rather easily from hands and clothes. Just make sure your kids don’t rub their eyes - you can’t just brush your hands together like you do with dry sand. You need to wash the sticky sand off of your hands. I recommend putting down a gigantic tarp to ease clean-up.

I did a cycle of this stuff w/ the I-gh-1. It does take two bottles to do a cycle and you have to swallow a ridiculous amount of pills between the 2 of these supplements. The good is my bench press went up 45 lbs in 3 weeks. I gained 10 lbs of muscle and was only working out 3 times a week and not excessively hard or consistently. Everyone noticed the size in my arms, shoulders, and back increasing. So basically what I’m getting at is yes, this stuff works, and it works well. Now the bad, for those that don’t know these are steroids. They switched around a couple molecules but it’s pretty much the same as the illegal ones. Same side effects are possible and so on. I stopped taking them because my muscles began cramping alot and I started getting headaches. Maybe it was because I wasn’t working out enough using them. Anyway, if you want to get big fast try these, eat lots of protein(2 whey and 2 caseine shakes a day), you’ll see results the first week guaranteed.

Have been taking this product for 2 weeks now and the biggest increase in energy would have to be due to the AKG and NO2 products in the 1-gh that comes free with this product. As with any PH, you’re more likely to see the biggest results in 4-6 weeks of use. To do that you’ll need TWO bottles of this, which no one tells you. Youll have some left over at the end. Overall good product, doesnt aromatize to estrogen or DHT so thats a +.

Handy little bottles, but I dislike the scare tactics used by some fans against Nalgene and other plastic bottle makers. Minor leaching of bisphenol A (which some studies indicate may be harmfull) occurs only in Lexan bottles (marked with a 7 on the bottom.) Bottles with other numbers, such as 2 or 4 on the bottom, indicating other types of plasic, are safe. Also, most leaching of disphenol A occurs in very old Lexan bottles, so don’t keep them for too many years. These bottles seem safe as far as I can tell, but I would throrougly wash them before using.

Just thinking about all those plastic water bottles and where they must end up is depressing! Why not do what small step I can to not add to the problem? At first I used a Nalgene reusable water bottle, but the the grooves in the cap and the lip would develop this gross bacterials or mildew growth that I could never completely get out. Then after reading about the poisonous chemicals that leach into water from plastic, I was convinced I needed to find a different solution for ensuring I get my 8 glasses of water a day in the healthiest and most environmentally responsible way possible. Stainless steel is less processed, more durable, has no leaching of chemicals, and more environmentally friendly. I’ve never had a leakage or rust problem. The only minor issues are that it doesn’t hold as much water as the standard 2 liter Nalgene, and if you fill it with warm or hot water the metal becomes too hot to touch. So it’s best for cold water. Also because the mouth is wider, you can’t be too eager drinking if you get really thirsty otherwise you’ll spill all over yourself!

There is nothing new in this book. Exercise. Eat less junk. Switch out white pasta for whole wheat. Oh, and by the way, buy X brand and Y brand etc. because Bob Greene must be getting paid by them. I was excited about the recipes. There was a buttermilk bran muffing that looked very good. But there is not nearly enough liquid in the recipe! When I was supposed to have batter, I had something with the texture of granola! I did see the book at Wal-Mart, and it didn’t have that recipe in the book - there was a Pumpkin Pie muffin that replaced it. Hopefully you get that version from Amazon. If you want access to the website, unlike the Real Age website (Drs. Oz and Roizen), which is free, it will cost you $5 a week. What a rip off.

Customer Review: A *real* fruit bar!
I tried a Lara Apple Pie bar over the holidays (from my stocking) for the first time. I was immediately sold because it’s really off the beaten granola-y path. Don’t let the “pie” part fool you–this isn’t sugary sweet–thank goodness. The calories are low, but the bar is full-flavored. You realize that it’s actually food, not a fruit flavored snack. When you look at the ingredients, it lists only fruit and nuts–no artificials, or lab words. I keep these at work to pull me through the morning until lunch. The box I bought contains three flavors: apple (my favorite), cherry (excellent), and pecan pie (husband says those are great too). We are using the subscription service to get a box of these bars every two months.

I’ve used this for two days now and I’m satisfied. It is cheaper than the competitors that I have seen but, judging by the reviews, it seems to offer the same functionality. It’s simple to use and counts calories, fat, carbs; keeps a diary to keep track of everything day by day. The downside is it doesn’t have a lot of the foods that you might expect. For those foods you input them once, name them, and then it stores them for future use. Over the course of a couple of weeks I would guess you would have most everything in there that you want. In the end, it gives you a pretty accurate picture of how many calories you are consuming. I have found it is very helpful in finding substitutes for the worst things I eat.

I purchase like Christmas gifts for the family, now too numerous and all adults to buy for individually. I like it to be functional and usable. I’ve always liked Duracell products because of their reliability, durability and value. This product was ideal. The phone charger in particular was what I liked about it since my car charger never seems to stay in my car. It was a pleasant surprise to one of my sisters when she tried it out to run her laptop and found it to work reasonably well. Good thing to have around if you’re ever in a “Jericho” situation.

I received this item a few days ago and it is almost everything they claim. The flashlight is bright and stays lit for a long time. Charging with the crank is quick and easy and if you’re not in a hurry, the USB charging cable for your computer works well. It takes about 10 hours to charge fully with the USB adapter(which is what they claim.) The radio tunes well and has good volume for such a small product. The only cons I found were trying to charge my Blackberry Pearl with the USB adapter (didn’t work at all, but that’s what my car charger is for, I wanted this for the light and radio) and when I first used it, only 1 of the 3 LED’s lit. After charging it fully, they were all on. I’m not sure if this unit turns off LED’s as the batteries drain or not. I will find out in time and update my review if necessary. I highly recommend this.

This DVD introduced me to pilates back in 2002 and til this day I still recommend it to others. I really liked how in the beginning of the video, a brief 5min explanation of the principles and background of pilates was given because it stayed with me til this day and really helped me with getting the most out of the exercises. The importance of “engaging the core muscles” is something that I have also applied to other workouts and it’s made all the exercises that I do highly effective. The instructions are very clear and if the main instructor’s poses are too difficult to follow, there’s a second person demonstrating an easier version of the same pose. The 25-min workout definitely works your muscles, I remember many times when I worked up a little sweat. The results are also evident. I once used this DVD consistently for 2 weeks for a quick tone-up (in preparation for a banquet) and my ab muscles were noticeably tighter as a result. One thing that might need to be clarified is that because pilate exercises involve working out your ab muscles, your stomach area will look slimmer simply because you train your muscles to be tightened instead of just hanging out of your gut. But this doesn’t mean all the extra fat you’re carrying in your mid section is gone. They’re still there and pilates can slowly help you burn them off, but it’s much more effective if you pair pilates with other exercises that have high fat-burning results. This way, you can burn off the fat AND have tighter abs, ultimately getting a flattened tummy faster.

I purchased this item but returned it without using it. I was looking for a scale that would count the calories and other nutritional facts of my food. Unfortunately, this scale is strictly a scale in the sense of weighing the food. I’m sure it is a very good scale, but I really cannot comment on it’s functionality. I can only clear up what the description does not: and that is, if you are looking for a scale to give you nutritional facts, this is not the scale for you. I will say it is small and compact and would not be obtrusive on any kitchen counter.

Customer Review: a totally comprehensive and fantastic course in African dance
This was a course, not a workout. Wyoma provides fundamentals, explains the creative narrative behind each MOVE (!!!!) and describes differences between dances. She also has an improv section. I am currently studying W. African dance and Afro-Brasilian, and find THIS DVD to be an inivaluable addition to my studies. This is for folks, however, who want more than a cursory routine or overview of African dance. This is the real deal. The outdoor setting is superlative.

For someone who isn’t a stranger to African dancing I found the instruction catered more to the intermediate or advanced dancer. At times some of the steps could have been broken down more for the dances. I felt that Wyoma and her dancers were more into giving a show then teaching African dance steps. This wasn’t a good investment in my money at all!!!

This is a pretty solid sprouting system. There are 3 trays, and they allow you to grow a pretty good variety of different sprout mixes at the same time. It’s stackable so it doesn’t take up alot of space, and it is very easy to grow sprouts. Some of the sprouts my kids aren’t big on, but I can’t sprout enough lentils! They pick them clean as a snack. I am guessing that’s a good thing. :^)

As someone who is fairly new to Chakra work, I found this DVD a fabulous bridge between reading a book and truly feeling or seeing whats going on energetically. I originally only rated this 4 stars as I thought the sound quality was poor but it turned out to be my DVD player. The 3-D visuals are a delight to watch over and over again. One great plus I enjoyed was the sparkling holographic image she showed of the brain near the end. Absolutely stunning. 5 Stars! If you get this DVD, definitely get her book “Wheels of Life” as well. It will keep you busy with energy work for years. “The Chakra Handbook” by Baginski is also fabulous! I wish I could form a Reiki club here in South Florida. It is probably much more effective to do energy work with others as the energy of the group expands exponentially.

3 1/2 stars is more appropriate than 3 stars……. wow! apparently some people really love this dark chocolate walnut flavor, but personally i like a lot of other flavors more. (that includes luna bars as well as other brands like kashi). Don’t get me wrong, It’s not BAD. let’s put it this way. I wouldn’t be opposed to eating one again. But odds are, if i have the option, i’ll pick something different. I think it’s wise to grab a bar at wawa or 7-11 & test it out for yourself before buying a huge pack of them off amazon.

The BSN Mass Stack is a great combination. The NO-Xplode drives excellent clarity and energy as a pre-workout supplement, and the Cell Mass certainly speeds recovery. Pumps and strength gains are definitely impressive. I would definitely recommend taking some substantial time away from these supps after several weeks of use; they are costly and the NO-Xplode particularly seems to have some diminishing returns after the first few weeks. The pricing on Amazon certainly makes these more attractive…

The general premise in Michael Pollan’s book about industrial agriculture being a brutal and corrupt business is not news to me. But he did manage to make my eyes open even wider and stop and consider what is going on in this country in regards to the raising and slaughter of our farm animals. This is not a book that aims to necessarily convert people to vegetarians, but rather to educate the reader about the many reasons why they should stop and consider just where their food is coming from and how it is being raised. Also explores the difference between the “organic” food movement and real organic sustainable farming. Pollan goes on his own personal journey to look at the process of meat eating, and encourages all meat eaters to do the same. If you are going to eat meat, it’s your obligation to consider the life of the animal that is feeding you. This is not a book just for vegetarians but for anyone who is interested in the politics of agriculture, the health and quality of the food they put in their mouth, and anyone who has respect for the creatures we rely upon to be a bulk of our American diet.
